Shakespeare’s Rose Theatre is located on Castle Car Park, next to Clifford’s Tower and a short walk from the City Centre. Construction will start in June 2018.
Shakespeare’s Rose Theatre is located on the outer circle of the York City Centre and signposted from the A64 and outer ringroads.
The nearest car parks are Castle Car Park (183 spaces) and St George’s Field Car and Coach Park (150 spaces).
Getting to York by train is both easy and great value for money, with direct rail links bringing you from London (Grand Central), Edinburgh (Cross Country), and Manchester (Northern) in around 2 hours. Book tickets to York from any origin with no booking fees at grandcentralrail.com.
Park & Ride
York's six Park & Ride services allow you to travel to York by car, park for free in secure car parks and complete your journey into the city centre by bus. A standard return fare is just £3.10. Up to three children (16 and under) can travel free of charge when accompanied by a full fare-paying adult. Discounts are available for regular users and groups of up to five people.
