Shakespeare’s Rose Theatre will be located on Castle Car Park, next to Clifford’s Tower and a short walk from the City Centre. Construction will start in June 2018.
Shakespeare’s Rose Theatre is located on the outer circle of the York City Centre and signposted from the A64 and outer ringroads.
The nearest car parks are Castle Car Park (183 spaces) and St George’s Field Car and Coach Park (150 spaces).
Getting to York by train is both easy and great value for money, with direct rail links bringing you from London (Grand Central), Edinburgh (Cross Country), and Manchester (Northern) in around 2 hours. Book tickets to York from any origin with no booking fees at grandcentralrail.com.
Park & Ride
Shakespeare’s Rose Theatre is accessible with the Park & Ride Service. £2.90 per person standard return (up to two children (U16) can travel free when accompanied by a full fare-paying adult). Buses run frequently between 7:00am and 8:05pm, Monday – Saturday and 9:30am and 6:05pm Sundays. Please visit their website for more details.
